A well-established practice in Bristol is seeking a motivated Practice Manager to lead a supportive team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a business management background, and experience in managing change. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and contribute to strategic decisions. Full-time preferred, but part-time candidates are welcome. The start date is planned for June/July 2025.
Hours: Full-time (part-time will be considered – minimum of 30 hours over 4 days)
Salary: £55-65k (WTE) – Dependent on Experience

Our Practice Manager is retiring after 30 years at the practice, and we are seeking an accomplished, motivated manager with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to join us.
Providing care to 13,500 patients with four GP Partners, we have an excellent and well-motivated practice team supported by an Assistant Practice Manager, Finance Officer, HR Lead, IT Manager, and Reception Services Manager.
We are a stable partnership working closely with the Practice Manager in daily communications, weekly management meetings, and strategy meetings every 4-6 weeks, where the postholder will play a key role. The partnership includes two Executive Partners who will collaborate with the new postholder.
The successful candidate will have a positive and approachable manner, excellent communication and organizational skills, a business management background, and experience in developing services, managing change, leading teams, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
The start date for this position is planned for June/July 2025, with an opportunity for a handover from the current Practice Manager.
While we prefer full-time hours, we will consider part-time candidates working a minimum of 30 hours over 4 days.
Experience in general practice is ideal but not mandatory. We welcome applications from candidates with skills and attributes suited to this role, especially those with experience in managing a small to medium-sized business in a complex and fast-moving environment.
