  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Full-Time - 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £37,338 per annum

What Your Typical Day Looks Like:
  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the practice with a focus on quality, compliance, and service improvement
  • Collaborating with clinical leads and PCN colleagues to enhance care delivery
  • Managing QOF, IIF and other NHS frameworks to optimise income and performance
  • Ensuring CQC compliance and high standards of governance
  • Line managing administrative teams and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork
  • Overseeing HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and wellbeing
  • Driving strategic goals in digital innovation, finance, and patient experience
  • Acting as a key liaison with PCNs and supporting external partnerships
To Be a Successful Practice Manager, You'll Need:
  • Essential:
    • Significant management experience in a GP or healthcare setting
    • Deep understanding of NHS structures and primary care operations
    • Knowledge of QOF, NHS contract requirements, and PCNs
    • Proven leadership, financial, and communication skills
    • Experience with CQC inspections and managing quality improvement initiatives
  • Desirable:
    • AMSPAR, ILM or equivalent leadership/management qualification
    • Familiarity with ARRS roles, IIF targets, and NHS digital transformation
