Role Overview

Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role combines patient care and commercial focus, requiring a strong leader passionate about healthcare, patients, and business profitability. This role is responsible for achieving pharmacy targets, managing the store pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, and supporting Asda Pharmacy's excellence.

Daily responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experiences, ensuring high standards of patient safety, and compliance with GPhC standards and clinical governance.

The role offers support from in-store, regional, and head office teams, providing expert advice and assistance as needed.

Rota:

Week 1: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat 9am-8pm

Week 2: Mon/Tues/Thurs 9am-8pm

Candidate Profile

We seek a dedicated, experienced pharmacist registered with GPhC, capable of delivering NHS and private healthcare services, balancing management and pharmacy duties, inspiring teams, and handling challenging situations effectively. Applicants must have a valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, and safeguarding qualifications. A DBS check and enrollment in the update service are also required.
