Salary: GBP44,572 pa (pro-rated for part-time), dependent on skills and experience

The British Dental Association (BDA) is the national professional association and trade union for dentists in the UK. We are currently seeking a Practice Management Consultant (NHS, Business & General Practice) to develop and provide a range of high quality practice management advice services to BDA members.

The NHS and Business Advice team provides advice (mainly by telephone and email) to dentist members on a range of issues including the delivery of dental services in line with NHS and healthcare legislation; NHS contracting, commissioning and procurement; business matters and a wide range of other NHS and general practice issues pertinent to dentists practising and operating businesses within primary care dentistry.

The post is largely home based with regular travel to the BDA office in London. Occasionally travel across the UK may also be required.
