Job summary

Thera Trust in Calne is seeking a Practice Leader to mentor Support Workers, focusing on person-centred support and helping people live the life they choose with choice and control.

You will promote emotional well-being, improve outcomes, and support records, personal finances, meals, and community access across Calne, Melksham and Trowbridge. DBS checks apply; flexible shifts and representation of the company are required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
• Confidence in using digital systems (e.g. Excel, care planning software).
• Flexible working hours, willingness to travel locally and work across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Support Workers to promote person-centred support and empower people to live the life they choose.
• Improve outcomes by promoting emotional and psychological well-being and safe delivery of care.
• Maintain records and support with finances, meals and community access as required.
• Represent the company as an ambassador while upholding policies and inclusion.
