Job summary

Royal Greenwich is recruiting Practice Leaders to guide Family Help and Disabled Children & Young People’s Services. This role offers leadership and strategic oversight to frontline teams, ensuring high-quality practice and continuous development across children and families services.

You will work with Team Leaders, supervise up to three staff, chair multi-agency meetings, and drive service improvement while maintaining direct involvement with children and families to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Substantial post-qualifying experience with children and families.
• Proven ability to provide practice leadership and supervision.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and statutory responsibilities.
• Commitment to developing others and improving services.

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Leader in day-to-day management of the service.
• Provide supervision, coaching and line management for up to three staff.
• Deliver robust case oversight to ensure timely, proportionate and effective interventions.
• Lead on quality assurance activities including audits, case reviews and performance monitoring.
• Drive service improvement initiatives and embed best practice across the team.
• Chair multi-agency meetings and support effective partnership working.
• Promote positive outcomes, permanence planning and high-quality practice for children and young people.
• Help develop a motivated, skilled and confident workforce.
