A leading support organization in Ipswich seeks a Practice Leader to improve outcomes for people with learning disabilities. You will mentor Support Workers and ensure person-centred support, promoting inclusion and independence. Essential qualifications include experience with learning disabilities, strong leadership, and digital skills. This role offers flexible working hours across multiple locations, empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives.
At Thera East, Practice Leaders are experts in person-centred support. Most importantly, they improve outcomes for people with a learning disability, ensuring choice and control around the delivery of their support, and maintain a safe environment.
The role requires you to have a flexible approach to working shifts and maintaining records in line with company policies. At all times aim to empower individuals, promote inclusion, rights & independence, whilst adhering to policies and acting as an ambassador for the company
Thera will show that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society. Thera will be controlled by people with a learning disability. People supported by Thera can say how their Thera company is directed and managed. People with a learning disability will design the support they want from Thera. Thera will respect the rights and wishes of people at work, at home and in the community. People with a learning disability will check the quality of support from their Thera company.
