Job summary

This is a wonderful opportunity for an innovative clinical Podiatrist to join the CLCH Academy with a passion for developing the Registered and Non-Registered Podiatry workforce by embedding quality improvement into clinical practice.

CLCH has a robust professional and clinical leadership structure to support the role. The successful post holder will report to the newly created Professional Lead in Podiatry and work closely with the AHP Strategic Leadership team and the Practice Development AHPs by providing Trust-wide support across the London Boroughs and Hertfordshire.

Ideally the candidate will have experience in Community Adult and Children's Podiatry Pathways of Care and be based at the CLCH Academy in Soho.

The Trust offers a wide range of training opportunities for clinicians and is fully committed to supporting continuous professional development of their workforce.

Main duties of the job

The Podiatry Practice Development Practitioner will work closely with the AHP Professional Lead in Podiatry and Chief AHP to implement and evaluate the continuous professional development of Registered Podiatrists, Podiatry Apprentices and non registered Podiatrists. They will work with designated divisional teams to coordinate and embed learning and development ensuring that staff are competent and capable to undertake their roles.

The Podiatry Practice Development Practitioner will work with the AHP Professional Lead in Podiatry and Chief AHP to identify learning needs, plan and implement any training required and continuously evaluate staff competence ensuring that development is aligned to and informs local and national priorities.
