Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) service has an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop in a Practice Development Matron post for Infection Prevention Control & Cleanliness. This role will incorporate quality, service development and education whilst becoming an integral part of the Infection Prevention Control and Cleanliness team.
The Infection Prevention Control and Cleanliness Practice Development Matron plays a vital role in supporting, educating and developing the IPC service. You'll be developing your knowledge, skills and expertise of practice development and IPC whilst driving service development forward, through the support of the Heads of Service
You will be the driving force for service change and development within IPC, whilst working with the IPC service, clinical teams and both internal and external partner organisations. You will lead on quality improvement initiatives, clinical audit, and education and training development for IPC and the wider teams.
Ifyou are highly motivated, enthusiastic, well organised and are able to work independently and as part of a team and wider organisation, this is the role for you. You will require excellent effective communication skills, for both verbal and written communication and be able to effectively work in partnership working within the Trust and with other wider agencies and organisations in this role. You will need to lead service change and manage projects regularly whilst working alongside the heads of service.
