Main duties of the job

The Practice Delivery Lead is to be responsible for the high quality delivery of the services in the practice, ensuring the delivery of optimum care to the patient population.

We require a self-motivated, disciplined individual who will take ownership of the efficient day-to-day running of the practice, and working as the lead member of the practice team. The post holder will offer strong leadership, acting on practice and business opportunities.

Project manage the targets associated with APMS contract, ensure that all relevant paperwork concerning enhanced services is returned in a timely manner, use Open Exeter/CQRS to monitor performance in Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) to ensure practice meets targets and take remedial action where necessary, support the Head of Primary Care in liaising with the Eden Primary Care Network and aiding in the achievement of any performance indicators.

Managing Risk

Responsibility for ensuring that potential risks to the practice, including those concerning health and safety of individuals, are identified, addressed and minimised in line with relevant legislation and best practice. Working with the Head of Operations and CHoCS Health & Safety Advisers.

Primary Care Network

Ensuring that the practice team understand the PCN vision aims and objectives,develop services and deliver agreed objectives, supporting the additional roles reimbursement scheme (ARRS) to ensure additional staff are supported and developed within the PCN and that this resource is equitably shared between participating practices, and optimally utilised by the team at Glenridding Health Centre.
