A major focus will be working alongside colleagues and partners to enable people to move successfully from long-stay hospitals into community settings, ensuring they have the right support around them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans.
  • Strong knowledge of learning disabilities and associated conditions.
  • Understanding of support strategies for people with complex needs, including those with a history of long-stay hospitalisation.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues and offering practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels and build strong working relationships.
  • Experience of service quality processes and embedding best practice.
  • Ability to coach, develop and motivate colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
