Practice Accountant - Hybrid Exeter or Torbay

Our client is an award-winning accountancy firm dedicated to helping small businesses thrive throughout Devon.

This is a small, friendly office with a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for someone looking to escape a corporate environment while providing excellent service to clients.

Candidates should possess a solid academic background, along with a willingness to learn new skills and grow in their roles. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.

We are seeking an ambitious individual with a minimum of 2 years of practice experience who is looking to further and strengthen their career. Ideally, candidates should be either ACA/ACCA qualified or in the midst of their studies.

Overview of Responsibilities

- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparation of personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns
- Preparation of business tax computations
- Correspondence with clients and agencies, such as HMRC

You will have the opportunity to advance your career through training development or continued professional development courses if qualified.

As a team member, you will work effectively to ensure all client deadlines and requirements are met.
