Job description

My client is a well-known Chartered Accountancy firm. They are looking for a practice accountant with Tax/Audit experience to join their Exeter office.

Role & Responsibilities include:

• Planning and completing audits.
• Preparing management and statutory accounts.
• Completing corporation tax computations.
• Providing points for Director review, highlighting relevant client or technical issues.
• Preparing sole trade and partnership accounts.
• Completing income tax returns.
• Providing points for review, highlighting relevant client or technical issues.
• Monitoring and assisting more junior members in the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified.
• Practice experience.
• Strong IT skills and proficient in the use of computerised audit, accounts and tax software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take responsibility for managing and prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
• Accurate, methodical and inquisitive approach to work.
• Motivated and highly effective whether working independently or as part of a team.

Salary dependant on experience.
