Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is recruiting an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit and Accounts Senior for a respected Guildford accountancy practice. You will lead external audits from planning through to completion, and manage statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for a varied client portfolio.

You'll work closely with managers and partners, supervise junior staff, and develop your leadership skills in a collaborative, flexible, and progression-focused environment with hybrid

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with UK practice experience.
• Experience leading audit assignments and reviewing accounts.
• Desire to progress to senior management.

Responsabilités

• Lead external audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts under FRS 102 / FRS 102 1A / FRS 105.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Supervise junior and semi-senior accountants.
• Liaise with clients and build relationships.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional accounting advice.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on complex assignments.

The Company & Role

We're recruiting for an established accountancy practice in Guildford that's looking to welcome an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit and Accounts Senior to its team.

You'll work closely with managers and partners, taking responsibility for a range of assignments while supporting the development of junior colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading external audit assignments from planning through to fieldwork and completion
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
• Supervising and reviewing work completed by junior and semi-senior accountants
• Liaising directly with clients, answering queries and building strong relationships
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional accounting and business advice
• Working closely with managers and partners on more complex assignments

About You

We're looking for someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified, with previous audit and accounts experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.

You’ll ideally be confident managing audit assignments, reviewing accounts and supporting junior team members, with a genuine interest in progressing your career.
