Blusource Professional Services Ltd in the Midlands is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior to join its accounts team. The role focuses on bookkeeping and basic year-end work for a diverse client base, including sole traders, partnerships, and small LLPs.

The position offers a flexible level with progression potential, study support, and early finish Fridays. Ideal candidates are semi senior or part qualified (AAT) or studying toward qualification, with client liaison and tax computation

Qualifications

• Semi Senior or Part Qualified or AAT qualified; studying towards qualification encouraged.
• Experience in bookkeeping and basic year-end accounts.
• Practice experience or studying towards an accountancy qualification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for a range of clients.

Job description

A highly successful accountancy firm, commutable from Derby, Burton-on-Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Lichfield and Uttoxeter are looking to hire an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior into their Accounts team.

The firm are ideally looking for a Semi Senior, Part Qualified or AAT qualified candidate, with the role primarily focusing on bookkeeping and basic accounts preparation work. Candidates who are studying towards an accountancy qualification or have relevant practice experience are encouraged to apply.

The level of the position can be flexible, with the opportunity potentially progressing to Accounts Semi Senior / Senior level for the right candidate, with responsibilities and salary adjusted accordingly.

Clients are likely to include sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, LLPs and charities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping for a range of clients
• Preparation of basic year-end accounts
• Assisting with accounts preparation and general practice work
