Job summary

Addington Ball Limited, based on the northern side of Leeds, is seeking a Practice Accountant / Client Manager to manage owner-managed portfolios, provide proactive accounting and tax advice, and mentor a high-performing team. This role offers a path to trusted adviser status and meaningful client impact.

You'll work flexibly in a hybrid setup, develop junior staff, drive process improvements, and contribute to business development while delivering compliant, value-added services.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice.
• Confident communicating with clients and building lasting relationships.
• Enjoys developing and supporting junior team members.
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service.
• Audit exposure would be beneficial but not essential.
