Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 2 English and Maths
• Teaching qualification to Level 3
• CS30/CS31 qualification and vocational teaching experience
• Ability to deliver good teaching practice
• Good administrative skills and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment across courses
• Carry out initial assessments and inform planning for individualised learning
• Mark and assess student work in a timely manner
• Embed English, Maths and digital skills within learning environments
• Develop schemes of work and learning materials
• Contribute to teamwork across programmes and college QA cycle
• Attend meetings and support team members
• Course moderation/verification of assessed work
• Interview students and support progression routes
• Support students at risk of underperforming and maintain conduct standards
• Maintain accurate course records and attendance reporting
• Provide references to support positive onward progression
