PR Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, creative PR professional to join our public relations team, helping us to drive improvement in Sage’s reputation externally through traditional media relations, bold social campaigns and digital media. The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record in developing and executing global PR campaigns in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience in drafting a diverse range of copy at a high level – including press releases, blog posts, speeches and by-lined articles - and managing relationships with senior stakeholders is critical.

This role will also work closely with our product & technology innovation teams, so we're looking for someone with a really strong background in tech PR, as well as excellent writing skills. First-class project management skills and a collaborative, positive mind-set are highly preferred.

This is a hybrid role based 3 days a week in our London office and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities:

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Organising and co-ordinating Product PR activities in both the UK and internationally

• Working with other members of the team to develop plans for Product PR

• Creating reports and templates for our regional Corporate Affairs teams to use

• Creating a plan for external blogs from senior leaders, and writing regular blog content that ties to overall Corporate Affairs strategy

• Speechwriting for senior leaders

• Writing by-lined articles for senior leaders

• Writing template blogs/ articles for campaign pitch packs to be distributed to wider Corporate Affairs team for use/ translation

• Owning and refreshing a repository of shared comms content – blogs/articles/ etc. around particular topics
