Job description

A national financial and business advisory firm is seeking a PR Executive to join their London office. They are looking for someone to support the execution of the firm’s communications strategy and help achieve business goals by increasing media coverage across the firm. The role involves working closely with Partners and reporting directly to the PR Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the PR Manager and PR Agency to identify potential issues for the firm to comment on in the press.
  • Manage the firm’s corporate social media accounts, including news stories and reputation issues.
  • Respond promptly to journalist inquiries.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on media successes.
  • Distribute press releases and build relationships with key sector journalists.
  • Draft press alert emails for the firm’s spokespeople and outline planned content for the upcoming week.
  • Maintain the firm’s digital channels by uploading press releases and blogs to the website.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working in a B2B professional or financial services environment.
  • Understanding of financial, actuarial, consulting, investment, and insurance markets.
  • Degree-level education.
  • Proven ability to write press releases.
  • Knowledge of social media in a B2B context.
