Job summary

London-based law firm seeks an experienced PR & Communications Executive to join the BD and Marketing team. The role involves monitoring legal, business and financial news to identify profile-raising opportunities and to develop proactive media campaigns with lawyers and BD colleagues.

You will draft press materials, manage day-to-day press office activity, coordinate media interviews, build reporter relationships, manage social media output and support awards submissions and content

Qualifications

• Experience in PR and communications within a professional or financial services environment.
• Interest in business, financial and legal news.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with minimal revision.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise under tight deadlines.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced PR & Communications Executive to join a dynamic and growing London-based law firm. The role involves monitoring legal, business and financial news to identify profile-raising opportunities aligned with the firm's practice and business development priorities. The successful candidate will work directly with lawyers and BD colleagues to develop and execute proactive media campaigns, draft press materials, and manage day-to-day press office activity including handling journalist enquiries.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating media interviews and preparing briefing notes, building relationships with key reporters and editors, managing the firm's social media output, drafting awards submissions, and supporting broader PR campaigns and content programmes. The role also involves exploring the use of generative AI tools to drive efficiencies within the PR team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in PR and communications within a professional or financial services environment

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to produce polished first drafts requiring minimal revision
