Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Role Overview

Our standout communications activity puts us top of the league in raising awareness of Utilita and projecting a positive brand image. Your role is to maintain this position as part of our creative PR team.

You will work closely with the Media & Communications Manager, bringing new ideas, writing press releases, managing media relations, and delivering impactful communications for the business.

You will collaborate with our Energy Hub teams to maximize PR for our stores and manage a new media enquiries webpage to keep stakeholders updated with latest news.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone driven, creative, and knowledgeable about the media landscape. Essential qualities include:

  • At least one year’s experience in Communications, PR, Journalism, or similar
  • Educated to A Level or equivalent
  • Excellent writing and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Works well under pressure
  • Understanding of digital and social media PR landscape
  • Team player with integrity
  • Knowledge of the retail energy sector is advantageous
