Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and creative PR & Communications Associate to help tell Sedna’s story to the world. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is ready to take ownership of a growing function. You’ll work closely with teams across the company to build a consistent, compelling brand voice, both inside and outside the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and protect the Sedna brand through strategic communications and media presence.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all external and internal touchpoints.
  • Act as a communications partner to Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales.
  • Support the articulation of Sedna’s vision, values, and value proposition in the market.
  • Expand Sedna’s brand awareness and thought leadership footprint in key industry spaces.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Customer Success to write and deliver product updates, customer comms, and release announcements.
  • Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, company blog content, and talking points for execs.
  • Support internal communications including company announcements, updates, and alignment messaging.
  • Coordinate with external media contacts, agencies, or freelancers as needed to amplify reach.
  • Track PR and brand metrics to inform ongoing strategy.
  • Monitor relevant news, trends, and competitive messaging to stay ahead of narrative opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in PR, communications, agency or in-house.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and tone.
  • A strong interest in tech, B2B, and/or logistics; prior experience in these is a bonus but not required.
  • Eagerness to work cross-functionally, learn quickly, and take initiative.
