LAW CHOICE RECRUITMENT presents an exciting PR Assistant role in Birmingham. You will help promote the business through creative storytelling and external communications, reporting to the Head of PR and collaborating with the PR & Social Media Executive.

Join a busy Marketing and BD team and contribute to developing PR that stands out, protects the firm’s reputation, and supports business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years PR experience in PR agency or professional services is desirable.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to create news hooks.
• Excellent communication, organisation and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of PR with growing the PR strategy aligned to campaigns.
• Generate news stories, press releases and Q&A documents.
• Build relationships with journalists and stakeholders.
• Research media outlets and pitch recommendations.
• Draft and distribute releases and briefings to target media.
• Track coverage and report on PR performance.
• Maintain media lists and attend meetings with teams.
• Collaborate with internal comms on news content.
• Upload articles to website and promote on social channels.
