Are you an experienced PR professional looking for your next challenge?

Our client, a boutique strategic communications and public affairs consultancy, is run by a highly experienced founder who has worked on three continents and is now looking for a right hand person who has the opportunity to take a meaningful place in the business with top future prospects.

We are seeking an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to augment an established team. You will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships, developing and executing successful issue-driven PR campaigns. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow at a very fast pace and the prospect of a share of the business.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of PR experience, with a strong track record in media relations, social media campaign management, and events. You should have excellent analytic and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable working with all levels of client teams, from MD to marketing and communications managers. Top written and oral skills and able to hit a deadline and contribute your own ideas to the campaigns.

Candidate Specification

  1. Degree standard essential, with a high level of written and spoken English.
  2. A demonstrable flair for copy-writing and original ideas.
  3. Experienced social media, press campaign, and event manager within the PR/Comms environment or agency.
  4. Highly organised and unflappable.
  5. Multi-project management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  6. Strong attention to detail.
  7. An interest in working in a PR environment at a strategic level with leading manufacturers.
  8. Appetite for knowledge – of clients, markets, and legislation -- to provide insight and advice.
  9. Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  10. A confident team player who can lead contributions in both client and internal meetings.
