PR Account Manager – MMGY Global

The role
  • Trusted dayishable contact for your clients, managing relationships with confidence and ensuring requests are handled efficiently by you or your team.
  • Lead press office activity from start to finish, overseeing the creation of high‑quality press releases, delegating and outsourcing where appropriate, and ensuring everything meets the highest editorial standards before it goes out.
  • Pitch creative story ideas to journalists across phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings; attend events and media opportunities to network and build new relationships.
  • Plan and deliver press trips, from organisation through to execution, working closely with media partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Support the wider team by contributing to the development of PR plans, creative campaign ideas, targeted media lists and realistic timelines that drive meaningful coverage for your clients.
About you
  • 3+ years’ experience in PR, with a strong understanding of the travel and lifestyle media landscape. Experience working with tourism clients and/or the cruise sector is an advantage.
  • Solid network of media contacts across national and consumer titles, confident managing campaigns, teams and budgets.
  • Exceptional writer and communicator with the interpersonal skills needed to build lasting relationships with clients, journalists and colleagues.
  • Good understanding of social media and how it integrates with PR strategies; a collaborative, proactive mindset and a genuine “can‑do” attitude.
  • Team player passionate about delivering standout PR.
