Overview

We are working with a market-leading organisation in the energy and infrastructure sector, known for delivering large-scale, high-impact projects that drive innovation and support the UK's net-zero goals. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of a Part-Qualified Accountant.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management and financial accounts.
  • Support the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Partner with project teams to monitor and report on project performance and costs.
  • Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary to support business decision-making.
  • Contribute to the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support finance systems improvements and internal process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent).
  • Experience in a finance or accounting role with exposure to both financial and/or management reporting.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
