Job summary

Quest Employment is recruiting PPT Drivers for a busy warehouse in Crick, NN6. The role offers 4 on/4 off shifts, with a pay rate of £13.88 per hour and weekly pay. You will operate PPT equipment, pick orders, move stock, and support goods in and dispatch operations.

This is a full-time, temporary role with ongoing work and potential for long-term employment. Training provided and on-site parking may be available.

Qualifications

• PPT driving experience is essential.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable in a warehouse setting and able to work with PPT trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pick orders using PPT trucks or pump trucks.
• Move stock and support Goods In and dispatch processes.
• Use handheld scanners or pick sheets and pack products for dispatch.
• Load/unload deliveries and assist with general warehouse duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Quest Employment are currently recruiting experienced PPT Drivers for a busy and growing company based in the Crick, NN6 area.

The Role

As a PPT Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include but are not exclusive to:

• Operating PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) equipment safely and efficiently
• Picking orders using PPT trucks or pump trucks
• Moving stock in the warehouse for the Goods In department
• Using handheld scanners or pick sheets
• Packing products ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations
• Other general warehouse duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Key Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Experienced PPT drivers (essential)
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Comfortable working on and off the PPT trucks
• Comfortable completing various tasks within the warehouse when required
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to follow health & safety procedures
• Good communication skills
• Good attention to detail

Previous experience in warehouse, production, picking, packing, manufacturing, logistics or factory work would be beneficial.
