Manager, Projects Procurement - Supply Chain

About the role:

As a Manager, Projects Procurement, you will preferably have a strong Supply Chain background (Strategy, RFx, Supplier Relationship, Contract Negotiation, and Contract Management) with experience in purchasing services and equipment for major projects, including Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC). You will be a direct interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality, HSE, and Project Managers. You should possess strong commercial relationship skills towards suppliers to provide clear, timely, and innovative solutions to organizational requests. An advanced level of spoken and written English is required; additional languages (Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish) are a plus. Ability to travel within Europe (10-20%) is also necessary. You will report to the EMEA Manager, Projects Procurement, and be located in Springfield.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct all pre- and post-award project procurement activities associated with EPC/EPIC/EPCM projects as applicable.
  2. Develop sourcing and procurement strategies and plans with Offer and Project Teams. Identify potential suppliers and establish communication channels.
  3. Establish pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions to meet financial, quality, and delivery requirements.
  4. Develop RFx documentation and define commercial conditions.
  5. Analyze and evaluate cost elements for commodity groups to identify cost improvements and develop strategies to maximize supplier value.
  6. Maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, mediating and resolving contract issues.
  7. Minimum 10 years of project procurement management experience.
  8. Represent GSCS PPM within project team reviews.
  9. Define the overall Project Procurement Program schedule.
  10. Drive a project PPM team within high-complexity projects.
  11. Develop procurement strategies for goods and services in compliance with project requirements.
  12. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse policies.
  13. Explore the market for new technologies that add value for the end customer.
  14. Experience in managing EPIC Project Procurement activities.
  15. Working knowledge of NEC/FIDIC regulations.
  16. Leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  17. Strong project management and communication skills, including interaction with executive levels.
