Job description

PPC Executive - Travel

Location: Hertfordshire – Hybrid working setup, in office 2 times a week

Salary: £25,000 to £40,000 plus bonus and benefits

Role Overview

If you're planning a holiday, who would you book with? Would you Google "UK Holidays" and click on the first PPC link? Why is that important for a PPC Specialist?

Let's rewind to before we had all these options to look forward to. Before booking, you might search for websites, tour operators, destinations, hotels, and travel dates. Maybe you've traveled with them before or revisited their website multiple times, inputting data each time.

All of this starts with PPC. How do companies find you? Through well-placed ads that understand user intent and search behavior. For example, "UK Holidays" attracts more traction than more specific or less common search terms.

This initial step is crucial in landing new customers, especially in the travel industry. Managing PPC campaigns effectively and optimizing budgets to get the best results is essential.

Team and Responsibilities

You will work as part of the PPC team on technical build and managing multiple campaigns for a well-known travel company. The team is experienced and knows their customer base well. They seek someone eager for a challenging role and to learn from a leading travel brand.

In the coming year, there will be a focus on quick wins, as customers become more savvy in their holiday searches. Staying on top of trends and optimizing campaigns accordingly is vital.

By the end of your first year, you will have gained substantial knowledge and progressed towards becoming a PPC expert. The ultimate goal? More bookings and more happy travelers!

Experience Necessary
  • Experience managing PPC campaigns for mid-sized to large brands, ideally with budgets exceeding a million pounds
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, capable of creating campaigns from scratch, not just modifying existing ones
  • Strong technical skills within the Google suite
  • Experience working within a B2C customer environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting

Note: Must be able to live and work in the UK without restrictions.
