PPC Executive

Location: Hybrid / Leeds

Salary: A£24,570 - A£28,000 per annum

The Role

As a PPC Executive you will be working within their Paid Media team building, implementing and tracking paid search and display campaigns for a range of websites across a varied client portfolio with a view to generating targeted traffic and increasing conversions.

Working closely with account managers, PPC Executives are expected to deliver insight to their clients on account performance, as well as demonstrating a sound understanding of client KPIs. A keen eye for detail is critical, along with a passion for the industry and teamwork.

Main Accountabilities:
  1. Responsible for producing weekly/monthly reports with detailed commentary, insights and actions.
  2. Work alongside Account Managers and peers to drive performance and growth for clients.
  3. Build search, display, video, shopping and PMax campaigns.
  4. Optimise campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  5. Undertake keyword research analysis.
  6. Budget management.
  7. Ad Copy writing and testing.
  8. Completing regular Search Query reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
Core Knowledge and Skills
Essential:
  1. You will be organised, determined and persistent.
  2. As well having excellent written and verbal communication skills you will have a strong customer service ethos and ability to build lasting relationships.
  3. Meticulous attention to detail.
  4. Strong knowledge of Excel.
  5. An ability to consistently manage time appropriately and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  6. Knowledge of the Google and Microsoft Ads interfaces.
  7. Knowledge of how measurement and tracking works.
  8. Knowledge of common metrics within paid media e.g. relationship between metrics, understanding definitions, calculations and the impact of these.
  9. Knowledge of Google Analytics.
Desirable:
  1. Comfortable in supporting peers and knowledge sharing.
  2. Knowledge of digital marketing strategy.
Qualification/Experience Requirements
Essential:
  1. Previous experience within a paid media environment and be eager to build on this and develop within their company.
  2. Basic to intermediate knowledge of the search engine marketing industry.
  3. Demonstrable experience in a PPC role gained from a search agency or in-house position.
Desirable:
  1. Some knowledge of Internet and web development technologies HTML, XHTML, CSS.
  2. Completion of the core Google Ads certificates.
