PPC Executive

Looking to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a hard-working, analytical and self-motivated person to join our team as a PPC Executive.

We are able to offer a competitive basic salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, regular travel to our Head Office based in Gateshead will be expected.

About the Role

As a PPC Executive, you will support the execution, optimisation and performance tracking of paid search campaigns. You will work closely with the PPC manager and report directly to the Senior PPC manager.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns, who is pro-active and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and implementation of paid search campaigns (across Google ads and Microsoft ads) that align with business objectives
  • Monitoring and managing daily campaign budgets, keyword bids, ad placements and targeting strategies to maximise conversion rate.
  • Regularly analyse campaign data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Generating regular performance reports and providing actionable insights to maximise opportunities to improve conversion from enquiry to sale.
  • Writing compelling ad copy and coordinating with the studio and content teams on assets.
  • Assisting with A/B testing of ad formats, audiences and landing pages.
  • Staying up to date with platform updates and PPC best practices.
  • Keeping up to date with market trends within the motor industry to anticipate future trends to adapt to change.

Skills

  • 1-3 years hands-on experience managing campaigns in Google ads & Bing ads. And ideally (though not essential) has experience using SA360.
  • Proficiency in related platforms GA4, Google Merchant Centre.
  • Looker Studio experience to create dashboards and reports that enable efficient reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience in handling large budgets and optimising spend to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to gather performance data and insights and prepare a report on them in a useful actionable format.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using Excel for reporting and analysis (e.g. pivot tables and VLOOKUPs). And ideally (though not essential) has experience with reporting platforms such as Looker studio.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience in A/B testing and data-driven optimisations.
  • Good understanding of other digital marketing channels (SEO, display and paid social).
