Are you a passionate and adaptable PPA Teacher looking to make a real difference in children's lives?

We're working with a well-respected special school in Central Birmingham that provides outstanding education and care for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.

As a PPA Teacher, you'll be providing high-quality cover across different classes and key stages, ensuring that learning remains engaging, accessible and inclusive for every child. You'll work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and senior leaders to create a safe and supportive environment where pupils can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering creative and differentiated lessons across the curriculum
  • Supporting pupils with diverse learning and communication needs
  • Maintaining excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Adapting lessons to suit individual Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Working closely with SEN staff and specialist support teams

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
  • Experience working within a special school or SEN setting (desirable but not essential)
  • A nurturing, patient and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to teach across different age groups and subjects
