Humly North East is partnering with a welcoming Hartlepool primary school to appoint a versatile PPA Teacher. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 while providing essential PPA cover for class teachers.

This role offers a full-time timetable with no heavy full-class planning, marking, or data tracking, making it ideal for teachers seeking balance in a supportive school community. DBS on Update Service required or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• QTS or ECT status confirmed.
• Experience teaching or covering across KS1/KS2.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to process one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1/KS2.
• Maintain positive behaviour and inclusive learning.
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse needs including SEN/EAL.
• Mark work during cover and provide handover notes.
• Collaborate with support staff and subject leads.
