Job description
Overview

Supply Heroes are looking for a part-time PPA teacher for a lovely, forward thinking primary school in Longbridge, Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with the benefits of being part-time and limited to no planning. You will also have the flexibility of working across numerous year groups, therefore somebody confident from EYFS to Year 6 is desirable. The role will start ASAP and will be for the full academic year, 3 days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide cover for teachers during their PPA time
  • Deliver lessons across all year groups (all planning prepared)
  • Mark work and assess pupils' progress
  • Work with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively

  • Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching

  • Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Confident in the classroom and managing challenging behaviour
  • A team player who is willing to collaborate with others
  • Have a teaching qualification to teach in the UK - QTS essential
