An educational recruitment agency is looking for a dedicated PPA/Intervention Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest from October 2025. The role involves providing PPA cover across different year groups and delivering engaging lessons. Ideal candidates will have QTS, strong curriculum knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a PPA/Intervention Teacher or classroom teacher across primary year groups.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Teach Plus are working with a vibrant 3-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest who are seeking a dedicated PPA/Intervention Teacher to join their team from October. The school is known for its supportive staff, engaging curriculum, and focus on pupil progress and wellbeing.

As a PPA/Intervention Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across different year groups, delivering high-quality lessons and targeted interventions to raise attainment. This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable and enthusiastic PPA/Intervention Teacher who enjoys variety and working across multiple classes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide PPA cover across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Plan and deliver small group and 1:1 intervention sessions to support pupil progress.
  • Collaborate with class teachers and support staff to ensure consistency and continuity of learning.
  • Assess and monitor pupils' progress, identifying areas for development.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school as a valued PPA/Intervention Teacher.
