Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Schedule: 3 Days Per Week (Flexible Days)

Are you a versatile educator who thrives on variety?

We are seeking a dedicated PPA Cover Teacher or Instructor to support a vibrant school community in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different age groups and subjects without the full-time pressure of classroom planning and assessment.

As a PPA Cover specialist, you will provide essential release time for class teachers across Key Stages 1, 2, and 3. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported.

  • Adaptability: Move seamlessly between Primary and early Secondary settings.
  • Consistency: Build strong relationships with staff and students across the school.
  • Engagement: Deliver creative and impactful lessons using provided plans.
  • Management: Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom organisation.
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about teaching and possess the following:

  • Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or significant experience as an Unqualified Teacher / Instructor.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: A solid understanding of the National Curriculum from KS1 through to KS3.
  • Flexibility: The ability to "hit the ground running" in different departments or year groups.
  • Reliability: A commitment to 3 days a week in the Chelmsford area.
  • Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
