Job summary

Derby City Council's Pear Tree Infant & Nursery School seeks a dedicated PPA/Cover Teacher for 19.5 hours per week on a permanent, part-time basis. A valid QTS and experience in Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1 are essential to foster curiosity and confidence in our youngest learners.

We are a warm, inclusive school committed to wellbeing, collaboration, and high expectations. DBS checks are required; a brand-new purpose-built building opens from November 2026.

Qualifications

• A qualified teacher with QTS (essential).
• Proven experience in Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1.
