A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an NVH Engineer to join their dynamic team. The role involves utilizing advanced data acquisition tools to analyze and interpret NVH data, leading to innovative solutions and quality improvements. Candidates should possess a robust understanding of NVH principles, experience with relevant systems, and strong analytical skills. With a proven background in NVH measurement and data analysis, youll be able to utilise industry-standard instrumentation and tools (such as Brel and Kjr, LMS) and to collect, analyse, and interpret data as well as drawing conclusions, reporting, and presenting work
Conduct Powertrain NVH and/or rig testing as needed. Supervise testing facility setups to ensure compliance with requirements.
Your responsibilities: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition)
Involve collecting, analyzing, and interpreting NVH data to develop robust solutions
Analyzing and interpreting test results, utilizing data acquisition and analysis systems like LMS Test.Lab, HEAD Artemis, or B&K Pulse.
System-related issue resolution and quality improvement activities.
Working with various teams, including product development, operations, and engineering.
Preparing reports and presenting findings to various stakeholders.
Use the results of NVH testing, along with subjective evaluations and engineering judgment
Support program reviews and management drives @ major milestones as required
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition)
Strong understanding of NVH principles and methodologies.
Experience with data acquisition systems (e.g., LMS Test.Lab, HEAD Artemis, B&K Pulse).
Experience with data processing and analysis software.
Knowledge of automotive (BEV and xHEV) mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with NVH testing and validation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: (As applicable)
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Cross functional team management and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of acoustic materials and NVH attributes.
