The Role

As a Powertrain Product Owner, you will lead squads and deliver the product vision. You will act as the primary interface to vehicle programmes, representing the wider powertrain community, utilizing your knowledge of powertrain technology. Your focus will include HW/SW integration, unit programmes, cooling systems, and responsibilities for test and development plans, system testing, and sign-offs.

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver BEV / Hybrid Powertrain Systems aligned with the Powertrain Strategy.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineering Leads, using Agile methods to prioritize the Product Roadmap based on milestones.
• Define and lead test and development plans for powertrain integration before vehicle testing.
• Organize work activities in line with the Roadmap and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor team performance and facilitate or escalate problem resolution for programme delivery.
• Represent Powertrain in external communications and stakeholder management.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience in Technical Project Management, solving complex issues, with a successful delivery record.
• Experience as an Agile Product Owner.
• Experience with BEV / Hybrid Powertrain Systems or related delivery.
• Component and delivery experience within HW/SW and end-to-end product development.
• Ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in EV propulsion and system integration.
• Leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering.
• Experience in product development and launches.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
