About the Role

Our client, a prominent automotive company located in Cheshire, North West, is seeking a Contract Powertrain Certification Engineer to join their Technical Conformity team. In this role, you will support the Functional Managers with on-time certification processes for South Korea and the USA, ensuring timely coordination and reporting. Your responsibilities will encompass parts procurement, effective communication across the business, and supervising emissions testing both in the UK and internationally.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a robust engineering background with a focus on vehicle engineering, including Powertrain, Body, Chassis, and Electrical engineering. You should possess experience in emissions type approval, certification, and legislation, alongside the ability to create and manage effective test plans. While Korean language skills are advantageous, they are not mandatory. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrating excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and resilience. A degree in Engineering or relevant experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) is essential.
