Key Responsibilities

· Ensure build items are tracked, expedited, and resolved efficiently to maintain productive workflow

· Instrument engines and EDUs for delivery to Prototype Test operations

· Support BOM validation and ensure all build route issues are addressed

· Represent build engineering during design verification and deviation management activities

· Manage the delivery of tooling, instructions, parts, and build documentation

· Support the setup and maintenance of change management processes for prototype builds

· Communicate schedule and scope changes to relevant teams and ensure alignment across departments

· Level 4 qualification (HNC or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)

· Strong understanding of powertrain build environments, processes, and technologies

· Proven experience with prototype or low-volume build support in an OEM or Tier 1 environment

· Technical knowledge of engine and EDU systems and instrumentation

· Experience with BOM interrogation, deviation tracking, and issue resolution

· Ability to clearly communicate technical data to both engineering and operations teams

· Familiarity with safety, quality and testing standards related to prototype builds

At E‑ppl, you’ll work alongside industry experts on some of the most advanced automotive programs in the UK. We offer:

· Opportunities for long-term career growth within major OEM environments
