About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power Pages Lead Developer to architect, build, and optimize enterprise-grade web portals using Microsoft Power Pages (formerly Power Apps Portals). The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic vision to deliver exceptional customer and partner experiences that seamlessly integrate with our Microsoft Dataverse / Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Power Pages solutions that align with business goals and user needs
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and development patterns for the Power Pages development team
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on complex issues
• Evaluate and implement security best practices for portal authentication and data access

Development & Implementation

• Design and develop sophisticated Power Pages solutions using both low-code and professional development approaches
• Create advanced forms and views that integrate seamlessly with Dataverse / Dynamics 365 data
• Develop custom web resources, web templates, and content snippets
• Utilise Power Pages CLI for source control integration and deployment automation

Integration & Extension

• Design and implement integrations between Power Pages and other systems using WebAPI, custom connectors, and Azure services
• Extend portal functionality through integration with the broader Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI)
• Configure and customise authentication providers (Identity, Azure AD, B2C, etc.)

Performance & Optimisation

• Implement caching strategies and performance optimizations for portal solutions
• Troubleshoot complex performance issues and implement effective solutions
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance standards

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Pages / Power Apps Portals development
• Experience with Liquid templating language and portal content management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dataverse, model-driven apps, and security concepts
• Experience with source control systems (Git, Azure DevOps) and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of web security principles and authentication methods

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with Power Pages CLI and development workflows
• Knowledge of Bootstrap, jQuery, or modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with Azure Application Insights or similar monitoring tools
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365, SAP Business One, Acumatica applications and data models
• Experience with Power Automate for process automation
• Background in agile development methodologies
