Job summary

Nationwide Platforms Ltd. Glasgow-based Engineering Customer Support role with a focus on technical guidance and first-line problem solving for customers and colleagues. Join a small technical team from the Glasgow depot to help resolve machine-related queries in a warm, supportive environment.

Based at the Glasgow depot, the role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. A competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Westfield healthcare, life assurance at 2x salary, auto-enrolment

Qualifications

• Based from Glasgow depot with potential visits to depots and providers.
• Demonstrable mechanical engineering knowledge across motor, fleet, automotive, powered access or construction.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to find solutions under pressure.
• Credible oral and written communicator with an empathetic approach to customer service.
• Competent IT skills – MS Excel and Outlook, ability to learn internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from internal and external customers as first response to queries about our machines.
• Provide helpful advice and guidance to resolve issues.
• Handle a variety of queries and ensure problems are resolved efficiently and sympathetically.
• Collaborate with depot network and service providers as needed.
