Position: Powered Access Engineer
Location: Nationwide Service Provider, Northern Ireland
Salary: Basic Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + paid door to door + overtime + call-out = £55k - £60k + Company Van + Mobile + PDA + Tools + Workwear
This business has an enviable reputation delivering a vast array of services within the commercial vehicle sector throughout the UK for nearly 50 years. It now offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Powered Access Engineer to join a newly dedicated MEWP and ancillary equipment team.
What’s on offer:
As a Powered Access Engineer, you will be expected to travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland as required. Your responsibilities will include servicing, maintenance, repair, and inspection of vehicle-mounted access platforms, MEWPs, and On-Board Power Systems for a well-known and diverse customer base.
You should currently be CAP certified with experience in servicing, maintenance, repair, and inspection of powered access equipment such as MEWPs, access platforms, scissor and boom lifts. A good understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and basic fault-finding on electrics is essential.
Experience with vehicle ancillary equipment such as On-Board Power and power inverters would be advantageous, though not essential, as a personal training plan will be created to develop any skills gaps.
