What will you be doing?

As a PowerBI Developer, you will develop both automated and ad-hoc Power BI reports to provide invaluable insights on commercial performance and improving operational efficiency. Additionally, you will provide training and support to end users on effectively using Power BI, ultimately aiming to drive data literacy.

As a Power BI Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and deploy BI data solutions across all our divisions by developing data models and pipelines, reports, Power BI dashboards, and KPI scorecards
  • Collaborate and drive data culture with stakeholders
  • Help drive and evangelise PowerBI as a tool and platform in the organisation
  • Synthesise other data sources, including customer research, competitor analysis, and market performance to augment analysis
  • Train and guide other stakeholders on how to self-source analytics and help them facilitate their data needs
  • Translate business needs into data requirements and communicate your insights to the organisation
  • Validated experience as a BI Developer using the Microsoft BI stack
  • Design, develop, and optimise complex tabular models in SSAS using DAX and data modeling techniques to support business intelligence and analytics
  • SQL skills for querying and creation of views/tables, functions, and stored procedures, with the ability to optimize queries for performance and scalability
  • Experience in designing ETL processes including knowledge of data warehousing strategies and theories
  • Solution-oriented, and creative mindset

At Evelyn Partners, we are expanding our Data Services team, investing in a large-scale modernisation programme to drive innovation and insights. We're building a new team to enhance data modelling, reporting, AI initiatives, and cloud data platforms like Snowflake.

As part of our transformation, we're growing our business intelligence development team to automate reporting and deliver Power BI-driven insights that empower end users. This means exciting opportunities for learning, upskilling, and working with the latest technologies.

These roles can be based in Liverpool or Glasgow, with the requirement to be in the office to collaborate with colleagues twice a week.
