Steer Automotive Group, the UK’s leading Accident Repair group, is seeking an experienced and business-minded Data Analyst with PowerBI expertise to enhance its existing PowerBI reporting suite.

Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the successful candidate will have experience in PowerBI reporting and app development, capable of advancing current platforms and working with business leaders to enable data-driven decision making by exception.

The candidate should be proficient in PowerBI, DAX, and familiar with PowerBI Apps, PowerAutomate, and Microsoft Fabric. Ability to analyze large semantic models and present them engagingly is essential.

Key objectives of the role

• Further develop Steer’s PowerBI reporting suite for company-wide use
• Innovate and create new reports, establish new data feeds, and identify business opportunities through data analysis and engagement with senior leadership across departments
• Maintain and administer PowerBI reports in collaboration with the IT team
• Implement user engagement strategies to promote the use of PowerBI reports throughout the group
• Create professional reports for board-level presentations in PowerPoint
• Proficient in Excel, PowerQuery, and related semantic models
• Experience with DAX, advanced Excel formulas, and familiarity with M, R, SQL, or VBA is advantageous
• Design reports that present data professionally and intuitively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint presentations
