At Atlassian Williams F1 Team, our Industrial Placement gives ambitious students 12 months inside Formula 1. Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or related engineering.
• Some CAD experience is useful; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail car components, balancing weight, strength and cost.
• Support structural and functional calculations that back up your designs.
• Work with aerodynamics, chassis, electronics and production teams, putting teamwork into practice as you fit power unit parts into the wider car.
• Draw on resilience as you investigate faults and see each one through to a fix.
