Job title: Power Transformer Project Manager

Location: Surrey, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

TGRC partnered with a global supplier of high-voltage power transformers that is currently seeking a Power Transformer Project Manager.

The Green Recruitment Company collaborates with a leading global supplier of high-voltage power transformers experienced in over 70 countries.

Due to securing significant substation contracts with National Grid, they are looking for a Project Manager to focus on Project Delivery within their expanding UK team. The role involves managing tendering, transport, installation, construction, and maintenance of power transformers.

Responsibilities:

• Scoping, scheduling, and controlling the project throughout its lifecycle after handover from the sales team.
• Leading communication with stakeholders, including subcontractors, the HQ sales and commercial team, the Factory team, and customers.
• Identifying issues and risks related to the project.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and gathering their feedback.
• Managing project documents such as design, quality, progress reports, and contractual deliverables.
• Supporting tendering activities.

Your Profile:

• Electrical Engineering degree or a relevant qualification.
• Proven experience in project management roles within National Grid or Principal Contractors, preferably in power transformers.
