Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to lead power system studies, modelling, and design for high-profile data centre and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical and civil teams across international offices to deliver reliable, resilient power networks.

You will influence design decisions, review technical deliverables, and mentor junior engineers while tackling complex issues with analytical thinking and practical engineering

Qualifications

• Strong experience in power systems engineering, including electrical network analysis and system studies.
• Experience modelling power systems, fault studies, load flow analysis and protection coordination.
• Experience on complex infrastructure, industrial, utility or mission-critical projects.
• Understanding of electrical distribution systems, resilience and performance requirements.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience reviewing deliverables and supporting the development of less experienced engineers.

Looking to solve complex power system challenges while helping deliver some of the world's most critical infrastructure projects?

As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the analysis, design and optimisation of electrical power systems supporting major data centre and infrastructure developments. You will lead technical workstreams, contribute to project delivery and provide specialist expertise across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Working closely with electrical, mechanical and civil engineering colleagues, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and network assessments through to detailed design, commissioning support and operational optimisation. Your work will directly influence system reliability, resilience and performance on high-profile projects across global markets.
