Job summary

Getlink, a power systems specialist role, seeks an engineer to provide technical assistance for maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of electrical power systems across critical infrastructure assets.

The role supports planning and delivery of maintenance activities, manages projects, and promotes safety, compliance and operational excellence while developing technical teams and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Essential electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electrical power systems and maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical safety standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in safety-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for preventative and corrective maintenance of power supply systems.
• Investigate faults and support resolution of complex issues.
• Plan and coordinate specialist maintenance activities with risk controls.
• Develop technical studies and tender documentation; assist supplier selection.
• Manage maintenance projects including contractors and deliveries.
• Monitor asset performance to improve reliability and safety.
• Maintain technical documentation and maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations and support teams.
